Drawn upon the Diverscope, a famous watch in the 1960s, Jean Richard watches created the Diverscope JR1000 with a fresh modern look and an in-house made automatic movement.
                 
 
The case (including the bezel), made steel with PVD coated, is sized at 43 mm . The two crowns, that are made of titanium and also coated with PVD,are fitted with extended guards and create a fancy symmetrical look. The one at 3 is a traditional one for time/date adjusting while the other at 9 is used to operate inner rotating bezel.
 
 
The bezel itself features the starting 15 minutes in eye-catching green that is also adopted in the “Diverscope” and the triangle of second hand. For me, the vivid green tone creates fantastic contrast to the white numerals and the black theme. And this color matching may be also eye-catching and attractive for those young divers.
 
Adding vows to the gorgeous look of the diving watch is the overall sand-blasting finishing as well as the black opaline dial with a matte finish(though another dial options is available- blossom)
 
At professional aspects: the diving watch is water resistant to 300 meters ensured by the solid case construction and the thick sapphire crystal. The sufficient lume application on the dial ensures optimal legibility under water.
